Therapeutic Massage

Our Massage therapists are capable of incorporating a variety of styles and techniques tailored to your specific goals.  For those interested in something lighter and more relaxing, Swedish Massage focuses on the superficial muscular layers using long, smooth and continuous movements to help relax muscles and joints.  For athletes and weekend warriors, Sports Massage utilizes quicker movements and stretching techniques to enhance athletic performance, improve flexibility, assist recovery, and prevent or treat injury.  For those looking for more structural bodywork, Deep Tissue Massage targets deeper layers of muscle tissue and uses slow movements of greater pressure to break down adhesions and trigger points.  If you have any questions, ask your therapist, and we will be able to help determine what is best. 

Hot Stone Massage

Smooth, flat, heated basalt stones are used and placed on specific areas of the body, such as the back, abdomen, face, hands and feet. The heat and weight of the stones are comforting and deeply relaxing offering a sedative effect, allowing stress and tension to melt away, easing muscle pain and stiffness, and promoting sleep. This modality has also been shown to help relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune disorders.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

This type of therapy uses a superficial yet effective touch that encourages the circulation of the lymphatic system and is extremely relaxing!  It specifically boosts the immune system, reduces swelling and inflammation, aids detoxification, and assists in recovery from illness and fatigue. Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a modern adaptation of an ancient practice. It works by applying inverted pressure using a vacuum effect to gently pull muscles upward, relieving pressure and tension, expanding the body's soft tissues. Cupping can help clear congestion, relieve muscle spasms by loosening adhesions and lifting connective tissue, help clear up acne by detoxifying the skin and the circulatory system, and brings hydration and blood flow to the body's tissues.
